Great DSF Demo Saturday @ Gilroy . . .

After the 1+ hour delay @ 17 to 1 S I was just minutes from my blessed beach bunkhouse.

Beautiful night, took this pic of the moon with my SD870 through an old telescope . . .

The DSF "Skid Monster" Demo at Gilroy High was a huge hit. Thanks to everyone that actually showed up. Sia getting it done. Thanks to Becky Doty of San Benito High for the support.

wnut told me Zagi was @ Laguna for a NASA event on Sunday so I went and checked it out . . . got a bit slippy for a while . . .

It was a great weekend . . .

on dialup right now, took me 40 minutes to uplaod these images and another 20 to post them. I hope you like them . . .

I'm sitting here half asleep trying to pound through these photos, I'll have to finish tomorrow.

The skid monsters surpassed my expectations - the car drove, and handled as if it was unmodified. I mean you can't miss those things getting in, but you totally forget about them once behind the wheel. Sia's expertise in instructing is the core value of the program. Like many of the other spectators and parents out there - this is definitely something I'd make anyone I care about attend. Not just those about to obtain or just gotten their licenses. Anyways...pics!

Also - Thank you for being an awesome host, I hope we weren't too much trouble. A gentleman and a scholar, and not to mention one helluva cook! One of the most enjoyable meals I've had in a long time, this is phenomenal as a few of us just dined at PPQ in San Francisco this past Thursday.

It fell on the open element electric stovetop. We left it, turning it once in a while until it was done . . .

Audi-affiliated potential trainers came down, marketing gurus, technical gods...and a couple just to enjoy taking the SM for a spin!

Looking forward to seeing more of you guys out at the next demo, hopefully a lot closer to the bay!
