Took my car to an awesome handwash place yesterday, full wash etc for 13 bucks. That included tire dressing too. They didn't scratch the wheels.
The prob with my setup is that even if I pull onto the street, there's no hose access. So I'd have to have them wash, then I'd have to wax and do the remainder of the "Detail" myself. No biggie...just that there's no time anymore. I figure once a month, I'll manage to go somewhere, a friends' place and do a thorough wash/wax/interior detail etc. But you can't beat 13 bucks for a quality wash in PA. It's amazing how the cost of living down here is much less than SF! The equivalent wash is $24 up there, even in Berkeley or other parts of the east bay. And to elaborate on the bang for the buck at "Auto pride car wash", for them to even shampoo your mats, it's only like 16 bucks total! |

Tires might start to look worse when it dries...

It looks pretty good today, 3-4 days later...as long as you don't say your paint vanishes by the soap they use, it's all good. ;-D
