Default not sure if you want to hang out at crissy field--really bad traffic getting out after fireworks

but the beach is kool to chill out with before the fireworks.

you could watch the foster city fireworks at night...maybe carting with them during the day?

Default Jack London Square in Oakland.

Usually have many food booths, live music, water taxi that goes up and down the channel, fireworks in the evening around 9:30.

Drawbacks: crowded, parking, parking, parking.

Default Santa Clara's Central Park has events and evening fireworks, not very crowded at all. We'll bike in.

Santa Clara's July Fourth All-City Picnic. Outdoor pancake breakfast, entertainment, swimming, carnival, petting zoo. Lawn chairs and blankets recommended; parking limited. 8 a.m.-5 p.m. July 4. Fireworks at dusk. Central Park, Homestead and Benton streets. Free. (408) 615-3140.
