I've never had the opporutnity, but in a "real world" situation (light-to-light), I think the V10 would take the PepperT. In a medium-length sprint, the TDI's torque would get you out in front quick and a quick lane change would seal the deal.
Of course on a much longer run, tactics would need to change. So if the race were extended to about 500 miles, the PepperT would take the lead early on, but then loose the race due to the number of refueling stops. Sound familiar? :-)
