Default Car advice... wisening up to cost.

Decided I'm not going to spend $750+/mo to lease a car (M3). Don't think I wan't to spend $750-800/mo on a car payment right now anyway, so I lowered my price range.

I can get a loaded G35 Coupe, 6sp, $38.5k MSRP and I'd can get it for $35.2k (good for January only). Cost $600 so have it dealer shipped to FL. Car is loaded, Midnight Blue w/Gray interior. Could also get one without NAV for $2k less roughly. Test drove an auto and it was very nice. Seat bolsters a little uncomfortable but people say they get better with time.

Priced out another A4, but at $32k or $35k with Ultra Sport, I just can't spend that much and only get ~215HP chipped... Need more power, so no luck on another Audi this time around. NO USED B5 S4's either, so don't bother mentioning it.

Only other car right now that really grabs my attention is the 330. Can get an 02 (pre bangled face-lift) coupe for similar or less money.

Don't see anything coming out end of year that is similar price that is something I want. Definately will be forced to do something by mid-year, but I'm ready now. Any used needs to be not too used so it still has as close to 3 years of warranty or more leff, or certified.

What do ya think?

Default The 330ci is gorgeous, but I think the G35 coupe is a little more sporty, and updated.

Honestly, I would go for the G35 with the manual tranny.

Default Evo 8 or STI

Default Then go for the M3

I actually started looking into 1-2 year old M3's.. BMW tagged on a 100k warranty on the motors so it seems like a good buy. High $30's-low $40's. Raw all around peformance the EVO/STI can't be touched with a 100' pole for the money if you want new, but they are not for everyone.

Default So.. They run like a bat out of hell which more than makes up for the styling

Besides, it's an awesome track day car, with lots of potential.. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
