Default Mike H., when do you think you can get me a definate price on....

A - A new MTM chipped ECU (I'll use my original ECU as a spare)

B - MTM chip only, I'll provide a socketed ECU

I think I told you this at lunch, a guy on Audiworld has a 2001 1.8T APR chipped ECU (CH) for $900. I'm debating on his ECU then try both MTM and APR, selling the one that is slower than Christian's car , or if MTMs chipped ECU (option A) is a REALLY good deal (haha, better than $900 anyway) I'll skip the APR stuff for now and go with MTM.

The only way I can get them is either as new ecu or installed. They like to seal the ECU for warranty reasons.
I will have price on Monday on complete ECU

Default FANTASTIC!!

I checked my ECU this afternoon, its a 'CH'. I just read an interesting article that mentioned MTMs involvement with Audi AG. Sounds like the MTM guys know what they're talking about! I can't wait!

Default MTM

The best I can do on a new ECU and mod chip is $1000. You did say you had a ch right? The ECU itself costs over $600. . To mod your ECU is $510. regular price is $595 if that helps. Let me know

Default Mike said 195hp and 236ft lbs. More than likely same as the rest, just more acurate numbers.

Default How and when, my 5000 service is anytime now(4857), how long does it take.....

to get the new chipped CH (checked this weekend, its a CH) ECU? I definately want to go that route. Let me know how when etc, do I need to bring the 'G' in small unmarked bills, that sort of crap. I also have an 'N' Bosch BPV that needs installed so figure that in as well (I couldn't get the damn hoses off the mother f'er, so its sitting on my bench).
