Default Any advice for dealing with heavy, baked on, brake dust...

it seems to be beyond scrubbing at this point. Bought them used, and I don't think they've been cleaned in a decade. That said, there is paint underneath the black marks, it hasn't eaten the finish yet.

Default 2nd...P21S the answer? have srs. brake dust build up on my wheels.

straight Simple Green won't touch bmw brake dust. 1Z wheel is powerless, and Meg's is somewhat...?

Default kimchee recommended go-jo hand cleaner...worked pretty well

i rubbed it on the wheels with a rag and buffed it off.

Default That right there is clar bar ALL DAY LONG

Although the mothers version is not particular strong, I would go with the Adams Professional bar from DD.
