Default Need some help on a ming blue

It's an '06 and has lived about 6 months out of its 8 months she's had it out in Los Angeles (heavy salt water/pollution air). It has a few light swirl marks (it's my sisters and she took it machine washes, and tried washing herself and didn't use the proper equipment). I was thinking about using P21S GEPC, 4 Star USMR for the swirls and following it up with the P21S carnuaba wax. What do other people use for Ming blue? And would the 4 Star be too much for light swirls, or just right? If it's too strong, whats a lower abrasive polish to use?

Default I've used a lot of different products, and all yield good results

Lately I have been very happy with the poorboys line for swirls and paint prep. SSR 2.5 but used properly Menzerna IP and FP, both with a white pad are fantastic.

I recently did IP, followed by Clearkote Red Mosse Glaze followed by Clearkote wax and used some Slick by Nick and the color was popping.

Here's what you have to look forward to. Great color, but it can be a b!tch

Default here's what I did with a similar color....

nautical blue metallic.

-Wash & Clay
-With PC, Yellow pad 4*SMR
-Black Pad 4*Sealant

Came out really nice.

I'll redo in a couple months with Klasse Twins.

P21S is not going to last very long--maybe 3 weeks in that environment.

Default Agree on P21S. Wax, any wax, has no durability as it is a 'topical' treatment. Polymers are ...

best as they 'link-up' with the surface and do not build up layers on the surface, like wax. Wax goes away after a short time. But the polymers don't go through the same metamorphisis as waxes but still tend to 'go away' after a period of time, albeit a much longer time period. CAR WASHES ARE A NO-NO if you want to preserve your finish and surface treatment...wax, polymer or otherwise. Polymers admittedly don't have the depth of shine of a wax, but after a good prep, then application of a polymer (Zaino or Klasse)you can "cheat" by applying several coats of wax like P21S and a decent carnauba spray detailer. Rest the finish a day between coats to allow the wax to set up. This is as good as it gets. :-)
