Might I suggest Einszett Chrompflege (Metal Polish) $3.95 on sale at DP...
My exhaust tips have looked like crap for a while, figured they were gonners. Well the Einszett made short work of bringing them to "as new" condition with nothing more than an old rag an a quarter-size drop of the polish.
