Default A6 plastic guards behind rear passenger doors

Anybody find a way to deal with that little sliver of plastic that they mount low, between the rear wheel well and rear passenger door on each side? It discolors almost immediately.
My dealer say's its just the way the car is, and that there is no point doing anything about it.

Default Re: If you're talking about the patch of clear

plastic sheet, it's probably StonGard, intended to do as the name suggests. It should be removable (as StonGard is). On my Ming blue, I don't notice the discoloration.
