Default Suckiest Car Care Products? My vote: Vinylex and One Grand Glass Cleaner

I know I'm going against the grain here, but Vinylex sucks. It's too shiny, and no matter how I apply it (sparingly, generously, whatever) or how much I buff it, it's consistenly splotchy. I wish I'd never put it on my dash. If anyone knows of a good way to completely strip it off, let me know.

One Grand Glass Cleaner: Crap. I find it leaves a film, no matter how much I "polish" (yes, with soft cloths - no paper towels).

Yuck. I wish I'd never used either of these products.

Well, I do like the Vinylex. I like it's smell and I like how it cleans up my leatherette seats really well. But, I do notice splotchiness on the dash. But...I have yet to find a vinyl cleaner/conditioner that DOESN'T get splotchy on the Audi's rough vinyl dash.

Default Good to know, because I was thinking of trying others.

Haven't tried they vinlyex on the seats yet - I can imagine it would go on smoother there.

Default Best glass cleaner I've found so far is TurtleWax ClearVue Professional...

I've tried all formulations of Windex, I've tried Stoner's Invisible Glass, plain water, you name it, but so far the TurtleWax stuff has given me the best results. Dries clean. I got it at Pep Boys.

I just tried it on my windshield. It didn;t do very well.. I tnink some of the film I'm getting might be from the Armor All evaporating ???
Anyway, Glass Wax cleaned up the whole mess perfectly.

I use Armor All and just apply a light spray to a small hand towel, then wipe gently. Comes out very even....
