Default What's the best polish & wax combo for a car show? Durability not an issue.

Normally I use IHG and Blitz Wax, I'm just wondering if there is something else out there that will give me more shine for the car show. TIA.

Default I use the same recipe as you. Many on the TT Forum (and Viper Clubs) swear by

Zaino Bros' products . . .

Default Try Pinnacle Souveran in place of Blitz...

if cost is not an issue. I also use Blitz but have heard that Souveran is an excellent product and looks terrific on dark cars. It does not last as long as Blitz but you posted that this would not be an issue.

Prior to Blitz I do the following twice a year.
1. One coat of Klasse AIO
2. Two coats of Klasse SG

Klasse products are acrylic-based and give superior protection and shine. I follow up with Blitz which gives "depth" to the shine imo. I only apply one coat of Blitz and follow-up every 2 to 3 months with another coat. After washing I use a quick detailer, EF Clear Pearl. If you go the Pinnacle route I would recommend Pinnacle Crystal Mist.

Btw the Klasse products I mentioned are similar to the Zaino products, they are synthetic, not carnauba-based.
