Default A damp cloth.

As I've stated in other posts, I don't care for the shine that Lexol and most other "treatments" impart to vinyl surfaces. This is especially true of dashboards, since more shine = more annoying reflection of the dash into the windshield. I like the "flat" look as it comes from the factory, so a damp cloth works fine for me. And I use a Swiffer to take care of any remaining lint or dust.

Default Re: A damp cloth.

I am the same way... I don't care for the "shine." When using a damp cloth do you use soapy water or anything? Thanks for the info.

Default no shine treatment

The very shiney result of treatment is often due to the overuse of the product.

IE coating the whole dash in excessive Armoral (any silicon dressing).

To get a good deep black color, with out the sine put a thin coat over the whole dash. Wait for it to soak in a bit and wipe off the access. Wait another 10-15 min and buff the whole dash. That will leave the whole dash nice and dark with out all the access shine.

Default Spray vinylex onto Miracle Towel and then wipe dash...

leaves nice satin finish w/o much shine. I will admit that I only do this about once every month or two. For routine dash cleaning I use a dry Miracle Towel that I leave in my glove box.

Default Excuse my ignorance: What's a "miracle towel"?

Default Miracle Towel is a "microfiber" towel...

there are other brands of microfiber towels available but most agree the miracle towel is the best. They really work great when quick detailing with a product such as EF Clear Pearl or One Grand Show Off.

Default I use Armor All Inerior cleaner (not typical Armor All)

Armor All makes an interior cleaner that works like nothing I have ever used before. It doesn't leave it shiny. It leaves it clean without any greasy residue. It works great and I highly recommend it..
