Default I've been mixing in liquid Zymol cleaner wax with Wesley's car wash for about 6 months now.

I've been more then pleased with the results.

Since I've done this. The water just falls off the car. When I drive in the rain. The raindrops flow up my windshield. As an added benefit, the exterior rubber, plastic, vinyl trim, and wheels have a factory new shine, even the black wiper blade arms now look new again. Plus I never get that annoying white wax build-up around the emblems and moldings. I would never say this is as good as a hard wax polish job, but for a maintenance shine during washings or an after wax wash. It's rather impressive. Give it a try..

Default How much to a bucket of water?

I'm willing to try anything once. But mixing Zymol in with the car wash doesn't sound a whole lot different from what some companies sell in the form of "all in one" wash + wax products. Have you used those in the past? Is mixing in the Zymol a lot more effective?

Default I put about 2 cap fulls in 2.5 gals. of water.

As far as the all in one wash/wax products. I haven't had a lot of luck with any in the past. The liquid Zymol cleaner wax is water soluble and cost $10 for a 16oz bottle at Consumer Auto Parts. I've gotten about 20 car washes out of a bottle.
