what to use to remove scratches from tiptronic shift gate?

Could try hard polishing with Brasso, or very very fine steel wool if you get serious

Be careful, though, as it's coated with a protective layer (almost like a
shellac). If it were mine, I wouldn't touch it.

I think it's really metal plated plastic.
I've never seen one that wasn't scratched (they may come that way from the factory). Regards |
