Default Simply Amazing!

John got IN-NE 3 running. It is fully restored. This car is the 0 car that Hannu Mikkola drove at 1980 Algarve Rally. Although it was the 0 car which ran first to verify the special stage was clear, the car set the overall top time. It is very significant piece of Audi History. The photos he's provided are of his other car IN-NL 67 which is an original A2 of impeccable quality and the IN-NE 3 which looks to be just as well finished. These cars will be present in high fashion at this years Goodwood Festival of Speed. Look for these cars on the Speed Channel, hopefully they will be shown with Hannu attacking the hill at Goodwood!

Very nice work John. The only words that come to mind are "we're not worthy, we're not worthy". Thanks for the excellent Pictures.

Great pics. I know John must be happy.

Speaking of resto, I got the "Great Galvanized Weld Job" completed yesterday with a new undercoat, and sand blasted rear subframe. Front subframe is next. The end is in sight. We located a proximal Mustang dyno, and we're set for tuning very soon. Couple of minor peripherals to sort, and the exhaust. Allowing myself some minor excitement, now. Found some rear brakes from an UrS also. Quaife is in. Painting to come soon as well.

Cheers,
Patrick

Were those pics taken in Killarney (Rally of the Lakes in Ireland) last week?
