i paid 4000 for an84 with 21000 miles dont know if it real but car show no sign of abuse but was stoped inside a storage room for about7 years and wasted about 3500 on it replacing worned parts but now it runs good.Most parts are still abailavale u just have shearch if u need to talk to some one that knows alot about this car u can call 1800allaudi and ask for John

Unfortunately, if you're looking to get a reliable daily driver this may not be the car for you. The Urq's can be very finicky to maintain, and parts can be more expensive then your average Audi. The more reliable and faster Urq's I'm familiar with have had the original engine (and it's associated electronics and fuel delivery) swapped out for more robust later 10valve turbo engines and some 20valve turbos as well. It's the kind of car you need to make a big commitment to, both in time and money. I wanted one for a long time as well, but decided against it based on the advice of an extremely experienced Audi mechanic who has a prepped Urq for track use. If you do decide that it's still the car for you, buy the most well-maintained car you can find. It won't be the cheapest to purchase, but it will most likely save you quite a bit of money down the road. Good luck!
