Default Better handling car--4KQ or CGT?

For those of you that have owned or have driven both these cars I wanted to know your opinion on which car you think is the better handling car in stock form, the 4kq or the CGT? There are no winners or losers here, just opinions.

Default On a track, or 'real world'?

I'm thinking that on a track, some will say the coupe handles a bit better. It's lighter, and traction is not usually a limiting factor on a dry track.

Now throw things into the 'real world', (especially where rain and snow is involved) and the argument changes. AWG in the snow is soooo much fun, and you can argue then that it 'handles better' there than a FWD would.

Of course, the performance bar can also be raised by modding the suspension to some extent too.

So it really depends on your definition of 'better handling', and modded or not..

:-)

Default No, dry conditions only. It would be unfair to compare quattro to anything else in the snow

Default Stock CGT outhandles stock 4KQ imo...

The CGT is lighter and more toss-able I've found.

This seems to hold true with my MC1 powered CGT turbo vs my 4KQ turbo too. Both cars are equipped with 2B coilovers, 2B delrin bushings, rear swaybars, and upper strut bars (the only difference there is I have a front bar in the CGT & front/rear in the 4KQ).

Don't get me wrong AWD is generally better in the wet weather, but day to day the CGT is more fun to drive.
