Default Oil fill cap leakage................

Well I was working on the 4KQ again this weekend. I borrowed my uncles spring compressor and I am going to tackle the struts eventually. But I was doing some minor touches and I noticed that oil leak from the oil fill cap on the valve cover. Upon further inspection I noticed that there is no o-ring or any type of seal. Does anyone know if it is supposed to get an o-ring or seal? I assume it seals to the bottom of the cap and mine is probably just worn out. Well, has anyone had this problem and what is the best way to solve. Also, I noticed the pan plug leaks too, but I'm just going to pick up an new plug and washer for that. TIA

Default Yes, it should have a seal. Roughly $0.50 at any WorldPAC dealer....

Default mine leaked with a seal so don't expect too much

finally stopped when I took my VC off for powdercoating and welded in a baffle under the cap.
