Default Took the ol' audi to the track! DRAG

Every friday night here at the track they have open racing..race anyone you want.

Here's what whooped me: 76 Jeep Wrangler (not stock, At least i think it was a 76 or somewhere around there), 99 Riced out civic (not stock), 97 Chevy 1500 pickup (had a vortec sticker on it, and it was really fast, beat me probably by 8 car lengths)

Supprisingly I won against: 98 Suby Legacy (2.5L automatic), 93 BMW 325i (6 cyl automatic), 91 Chevy S10 pickup (manual, 4.3 liter).

I beat the S10 the first time around with no problem. The second time I was maybe 1 foot ahead.
I thought I had the civic..I was WAY ahead about 1/2 way through..but his top end was really good.
The thing I find sweet about the audi, is the launch. Its freakin great with quattro!! No tire spin, launches you right back in the seat. It's all about driver skill during the first 3 gears and launch

I think its pretty harsh on the clutch, so I might not go next week. Damn it though I want to race some older vws I saw (rabbit, golf).

Not sure what my 1/4 time was..but it was probably like 16?? Has anyone actually gotten a timeslip?

Default I have timeslips of my old 85 4k...

But Im taking the quattro to Muncie to drag after I get the TB/WP and other stuff done. My 85 4k automatic ran a 19.5, and was VERY consistent. I was told to run in bracket racing with it, which I may sometime, just for the heck of it. Not sure what the quattro will run, I estimate 17.5, but I have no clue.
Sounds like you got alot of runs in, around here I usually get 2 or 3.
