Default Headlamp

I bought a brand new passenger side headlamp for an 86 4000 off Ebay a few months ago. I just now got to looking at it and it must be a Euro model or something. It has a bulb that is all metal and there is no way a standard 9004 will fit or even hookup to the fitting on the lamp. What the hell do I have and does anyone want to buy it? It is in the original Audi box. Also I have an 86 4000 CS NON quattro, is this unusal since I never see a CS mentioned unless it is a Quattro?

Default Does the lens say H4? If so, you've got a euro lamp, worth more than oem!

Default Try to find one more to make a full set, they are MUCH better than DOT lenses! If not...trade me?

What year is your car? Pre or post the face lift that occured for model year 1985. If later...sell it to me! Hck, I'll even trade you a standard DOT lens...

Default Making a deal

I'm pretty sure I have a full spare set for 1985-1987 4000s & CGTs. I pretty much stripped a 1986 CGT and took almost everything that was good. I'll check the condition of the lenses, but as I remember, one of them had a small hole that had one of those permanent patches glued into it. Assuming it does have that patch, what do you think is a fair deal? Feel free to e-mail me directly at david.ullrich@ferguson.com
