The flap motor resides behind a cover on the driver side of the heater core box. You need to remove the wiper assembly, disconnect the wire for the motor, which usually is tied to the wiring for the wiper motor, and take out a bunch of Phillips head screws to expose the flap motor. It's Item 18 in the drawing, part number 443820511A.

thanx Ron 2.6l 20vt stroker motor W/O a roof 91 V8 5sp mit 4.2 aka Black Betty 91 200 20v 22psi 90 v8q 3.6 not stock...gone but not forgoten :-( |
