Default '90 100 i5 rough idle /surge..

just recently started.
idle adjust?
dirty tb?
dirty air sensor?

plugs look ok
needs oil change soon.. oil flush?

passenger seat slide rail plastic cover
driver side upper headlight trim
turbo engine
light-grey "oh-****" handles
screw for glovebox hinge to lower dash
steering column cover screws
power antennae
door "open" switch rubber thing

dash gauge frame (both screw points cracked)
cast power steering pump mount
door lock catch pins - all 4 (or just the plastic sleeves, if replacable)
turbo engine
interior door handle bezel srew covers
driver side headlight aiming screw assembly
visor clip
flimsy plastic rain cover for hvac
mud flaps
turbo engine

complete AC system except for evaporator (missing)

Default pull the diagnostic codes............

suspect it may need an oxygen sensor. I bet it has been a long time since the sensor was replaced.

Default I dont know anyone with a reader..

..and the nearest audi dealer is quite a drive.

i suppose we could go to Autozone and see if they can plug in...

Most FLAPS can only read domestic OBDI

i made a code reader with an led and a few extra pieces of wire. costs about 3 bucks for the resistor and an led. look at sjm website. they show you how to make it and how to use it. the led flashes out the numbers to make up the code. for example two flashes = number 2
