Default anyone have a how-to on re-setting airbag light, 200tq??

Had to pull the wheel to get the cluster out...Disconnected the batt for 20 minutes before removing the wheel/unplugging the bag...Now the light stays on all the time...

If the airbag light is on all the time then you might have damaged the clockspring which provide provide power to the air bag.

You will need a VAG see www.ross-tech.com in order to reset the module. You can also check with the VAG forum.

Default Either you turned the key on with the airbag disconnected, or...

...you didn't hook the airbag up correctly on re-assembly, or you broke the clock spring.

Killing power the Airbag control unit will not reset the light. You need VAG-COM, Pro-Diag, or some other tool. The dataports you need to connect to are in the center console by the driver's knee.
