Default Going to Texas...

As many of you know, the end of last summer I got engaged to a widow from the Houston area. Just a quick update - I am transferring with the company I have been with for almost 10 yrs. and will be moving to Houston, TX next week.

Unfortunately, the Audi is not running [yet] so she will be a trailer queen on a U Haul trailer behind the Suburban.

Movers will be here on Tuesday or Wednesday, new house in TX has a two car garage with room for a workbench and maybe even an air compressor in the corner (I have never owned air tools before).

<queue the music for The Jeffersons "well we movin' on up...">

Woo Hoo!

Now, how do I list a full exhaust system and two Type 44 front fenders on the mover's bill of lading? Hmmmm...

Also, anybody in Houston that can give me directions to the good junkyards I would appreciate it.

That is great. Might have to change your alias from SteveJ_in_Ga to SteveJ_in_Tx.

You'll love air tools and will wonder how did you ever live without them.

Not much chance of needing AWD in Houston, not unless you decide to go off roading.

Congrats and keep in touch.

Nice to read things are going well for you. You deserve it after what you went through.
Congrats on the TX move.
Contemplating a southwest/TX relocation myself.
But my Audi will likely stay behind, either barter/gift it away.
Keep us updated on your rebuild.

Safe motoring on your move to Houston...

I remember you posting about your engagement months back...I hope all goes well...Would any man love a woman Audi nut? Hmmm...lol

I thought everyone 'knew' about what her demise was going to be coming up...she is going up for sale around May 1st. I am hoping that my new to me Zermatt 20v tq Avant is fully functional by the time I truly want to sell the black one. So eventually she will be sold. Drop me an email if you are interested in knowing more.

Good Luck with all your endeavors! Stay in touch with us!
