Default Power antennae...

Recently my power antennae quit going up, so I don't get any radio reception. Is there any sort of common problem that can be fixed with them, or is the only solution a brand new one? Checked it out and those things look a bit complex. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Default yeah sounds like you need a new one, fairly easy to replace

pull the interior carpet paneling on the drive side of the trunk, you'll see the whole atennae base. Unscrew the cap on the outside of the atennae mast on the body of the car and remove the bracket holding the base inside the car, undue powerleads, pull out old unit, install new, make sure you reinstall the drip line under the base and screw the cap back on the ouside part of the atennae, then your done. Takes more time pull the lining inside then actually replacing the unit, done it twice now on my car.

Default Did you replace it with an OEM or aftermarket?
