Default Whats this part called?

when I hook up the power to this part the after run system, or whatever it is, runs and doesnt shut off. So im thinking that this part is bad. Just wondering what its called or better yet if someone knows the part number.

Water temp sender. There is also one on the top of te water hose outlet that i see it not connected. try hooking both of them up.

Default That's the after run temp sensor...

Check your after run relay.

Rad fan after run switch=triggers relay under dash (above drivers left knee). This relay has a built-in timer that should allow the fan to cycle on & off as told by the switch for a maximum of about 10 miniutes. If ign. key is cycled on and off again with-in this 10 min. period the timer cycle will start over!

Its a temp sensor of course of some sort it may have a different function for turbo and non turbo. It wasn' t used on later 86 5k non turbos, but did exist on earlier 86 5k non turbos. It costs about 8 dollars
