Default For sale (for real this time) 200TQ20v. $2000.00

I know in the past I have put the car up for sale, then taken it back off... I have bought another 91 200 TQ from my old man that is as near to mint as you will ever find and consequently I want to sell mine. car has 150000 miles, and numerous problems. So, I'm going to sell it cheap. Kelley Blue Book says $2570 for this car in fair condition, and I would consider this car fair condition. The engine is great, no leaks whatsoever, hits full boost, sounds good, idles strong etc. etc. The paint overall on the car is fair, some spiderwebbing in the back, a bunch of little dents, minor clear coat peeling that I fixed with some superglue to keep it from spreading, (very hard to notice, actually). The hood sucks, as the car was in a minor accident and it bent up 2 inches or so and screwed up the paint in the front, there is a rust patch on the front of the hood about 2in x 6 in. There is a little rust on the front kick panels right behind the tires, also the rear trunk pins have not been replaced, other than that, pretty much rust free. interior is fair-good. the driver seat has a small rip that i repaired with some nylon thread and heavy duty needle, but the door panels and trim are quite nice other than a few cracks in the glaze for the wood. Carpets are reasonably clean, and I'll include front mats in the car.

The clutch need to be done, as does the timing/waterpump. The car was just aligned, but the camber on the front left is 1.5 degrees, out of spec by .5 degrees and I have never been able to fix it. brakes are still original UFOs with newer pads. the dash lights are out and fuses blow when inserted. speedo bobs, a rear window doesn't work, only window controls are from the driver's console. There will be no stereo in the car (unless you want to buy the stereo from me, but be warned, it is not going to be cheap, as I worked in a car stereo store in highschool when I thought car audio was the hottest thing in the world, and even now, a few years old, the equipment is worth probably $1000+ on ebay.) There will be holes in the door panels where the speakers were, and realistically, you would want to replace the door skins.

The engine hits full boost and there are no leaks whatsoever in the engine comparment (atleast certainly no spots on the garage floor).

So, here is the deal. If you want it, I will only accept $2000.00 cash. I consider it more than a fair price for the engine compartment alone. The car is perfectly drivable, and really not aesthetically bad at all. I don't want to hassle, I don't want to bargain, and I don't really want negotiate either. $2000.00 is a great price for this car. You are welcome to come take a look at teh car, its near keene, NH and I should have some photos uploaded tomorrow.

All told, major parts to make the car right - set of sport seats from chris at force 5 - $150.00 Matching color hood from chris - $90.00. clutch-$400 +/-, timing belt/water pump etc $125 +/-. all the rest of the parts should be pretty cheap.

Let me know via cell phone (603 767 4236) if you are interested or have any Q's. - my e-mail is down for the next week.

Sorry for the long post,

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Default You need to charge more!! And I'm not just saying that because I'm selling one, too... :)

Seriously; I'd say $2500 to $2900 would be more realstic, especially for your neck of the woods.

Stick it on audifans' free marketplace.
