Default good/bad assumption...

am i correct in assuming that the 200 doors will fit on the 5000's? is there anything that i should know?

"the galvanized stuff" is standard on the 5k body starting with the typ44 chassis (1984 model year). You already have them...

i thought that galvanized parts started in 88?! okay. thats definitely cool.

no, galvanizing started with the introduction of the typ44 back in '84. It was the first fully galvanized Audi. Produced along side the 944.

By 86 or 87, all Audi's were fully galvanized...

I can find out for sure this weekend, when I see my dad (dealer from '81 to '92).
