I love the H4 euro's on my 5ks. I put in 100/80w bulbs and they are great...
Someday I will get some euro's for my 5ktq also... Oh for what it's worth, I thought the Blau directions sucked... ![]() Steve Michigan

I got eoros from Blau by accident when ordering my new lights and upon taking it to my mechanic (yes, I'm only 18 and I know nothing about cars...) he said that the car wouldn't pass inspection with the euros, so I had to send 'em back and get new americrap.

Used to be decent headlights stood out because the run-of-the-mill US DOT lights stunk so bad. Now, however, the headlights on many cars are much better, and they don't stand out as much.
Also, Georgia does not have a state inspection so it's a piece of cake. And from what I have heard from my northern brethren, the way to get around the 'not quite legal' thing is to: 1. Pop the old DOT lights back in once a year for inspection. or 2. Go to the 'easiest' inspection station that is less likely to look very closely at the lights. The other line I have heard used when pulled over for an equipment violation is "oh they were on the car when I bought it." Me personally, I would probably launch into a tirade about the nasty glare-at-any-angle Ford truck headlights if they had a problem with the euros, the Ford headlights are much worse than any euro!

I mean, nobody can have tinted taillights (Jetta Wolfsburgs came stock with them), can't change the colors of your indicators, etc., etc, etc. It seems that the DOT is so concerned with people hitting each other that they focus almost entirely on whether or not your car is visible to other vehicles on the road. But they don't seem to give a hoot about whether or not you can personally see anything else on the road if you're all alone at night. With more and more foreign auto manufacturers offering HID headlights as standard equipment these days, hopefully the DOT will get with the program and realise that Europe has this one right. To the best of my knowledge, aren't HID's required by law in quite a few countries "across the pond"?
Maybe, someday... |

on the marketplace at www.audifans.com who was selling a set of brand new H4 euro's for $175. You could make those fit on your turbo car by redoing some wiring and getting a different grill...
If you want the euro "turbo" lights, then www.audiquattroparts.com has them. They are alot of money... Steve Michigan
