Looking for a part..... Junkyard people??

I just need the distributor cap for a 1990 200! I went and picked one out of the local boneyard off a untouched 1986 5000t (for you GA fella's that 5000 is at pull-a-part in norcross ,aisle 29 second car) but it didn't fit! Am i better off just going to autozone and not dealing with the hassle of shipping?

Not a single Audi 100 or 200 in my area's j. yards.

They are sooo rare in the junk yards.

Performance Motorcars has them for 10 bucks if you can wait and shipping is usally very reasonably as well.

I even ran across a V-8 Quattro in the local donation lot today. In any case, $10.00? Get a new one.

If we had some 100/200 here in NoCA i would get me a bunch of small used parts i need(nothing major)....the list is sooo long.

V8 you say? I'm still desperately looking for the rear sun shade and i know the V8 had it. Did this one have a sunshade?

The car I mentioned was for sale whole. Donating cars to charity is a big deal here. The V8 Quattro looked real tired and I didn't spend a lot of time looking it over. The same place had 5 or 6 100's and 200's. If they have been donated, you have to begin with the assumption something is wrong with them. Several had over 200K.
