Default No. I wish...

I'll have to rig something up and make it look good

I've been looking at Autometer and VDO setups...

Default Pillar pods are availible separately, typically from any aftermarket vendor who sells guages.

Default Heat Gun

I have heard of pillar pods being made to fit with a heat gun and extraordinary glue. On another list which I belong to (which shall remain nameless) custom pillar pods are being offered if ordered in quantities of 20 or more. Cost is 19.95 each.

Default Yes there is (more)

Call up 2Bennett Audimotive in Davis, CA- www.2bennett.com for the number. They have pods available for type 44s- $89.95, IIRC.

I'm working on an alternative myself, but 2Bennett is the easy way out.
