Anyone else got OEM oil filters "Made in China" recently??

It's an OEM Mann filter, even has Audi/VW logo stamped on it, but clearly made in China.

I'm sure it's the same design of the filter (check valve and all), but I generally have cold sweats putting anything that says "Made in China" on my S6. I can't even remember where I ordered them from though, so I doubt I can return.

Should I toss them or are they fine?

I might just go for it. I'm sure MANN isn't the only one's making oil filters in China now.

but they still cost the same...One of Audi's power steering suppliers is China Automotive. Make a lot of stuff for VW. The only thing that isn't german about them is that they come from a Mann plant in China.

China also has the highest percentage of PhD's percapita...food for thought???
