Default Got a rear caliper rebuild kit this morning. PN=8DO 698 671. NE1 verify for me?

Dust seals were too small. The calipers were from Gabriel's S4. Need to track down the correct kit ASAP. Thanks for any help.

Cheers,

Default And yes, I saw Adriano's post below, but the 447 at the beginning threw me.

Default You most likely got a 100 rear caliper rebuild kit. Same thing happened to Adriano and myself.

Adriano persevered and I gave up. I'll see if I can find a number in ETKA.

Default Looks like it might be 251 698 471 B

There are two kits listed and neither of them are the part number you have or the one Adriano has. I kind of deduced which of the PN's is more likely by using ATP to see what models the kit works for. However, looking at Adriano's part number in ATP his seems even more likely even though it is not listed at all under '92 (the car your calipers came from).

Default Hmmm...Ok, thanks Gabriel. I'll try and run that number through as well.

I'll have some cash off to you soon, too.

Default Interesting, thats the part # that comes up in Worldpac.

It shows it is for the front and fits all model, 80, 90, 100, V8 and S cars. Plus several others. I wonder if the kit listed for the front of most Audis fits the rear of our cars.
