It's been ordered!

Anything else I should plan on doing in preparation of running the higher boost? Hoses, bypass valve etc?

How much different will my car be with this program? Should I be blown away when I take it for it's first test drive?

Default Yes, you will be blown away.

So will your hoses in a short time. Think about Samco hoses and an upgraded bypass valve.

Default Not necessarily. quattro20v is STILL running stock hoses with "full" RS2 but then...

again, I think he (Sean) is pushing his luck (Right Sean?)

Default Re: Goin' with the MRC program...

Samco hoses are a good idea but possibly are overkill. The original hoses may hold up quite well. The operative word is "may".

Yeah, I plan on replacing the boost hoses anyways. I've already replaced the bypass valve with the 710N.

Default Crossing my fingers... Seriously, I'll bet most of the hoses that

let go after chipping are original and would blow out with stock boost levels, chipping just accelerates this. The only one that goes is the cross over tube to intercooler (michelin man) because oil sits in the bottom and rots it out.

The metal x-over makes a big difference because you can clamp it with higher pressure.

Default At least change the clamps.

I'm running MRC Stage 2, and the car appears to have all the original hoses. I just last week blew the turbo to x-over hose off of the x-over while making a pass (embarrassing). The following day, the SAMCO hoses arrived from the GP, so I've started replacing them. I noticed that the boost hoses were all in good shape, but the clamps were all fairly loose (probably due to permanent compression of the rubber).

At the very least, I would check all the clamps and make sure they're tight. I noticed that you can't tighten them too much before they slip a notch. The Breeze constant-torque clamps I got for my SAMCOs would probably work fine on the stock hoses as well. They're significantly wider and stronger.
