Default Hey, is this the old one? now JC White's car?

Looks good with the Avus wheels.

Where are either of the sets of the Pearl white rims? I may be picking up a Pearl White coupe and would be interested in the old rims of they're around...

(didn't post pic 'cause of size, here's link to s-cars pics of the event)

Default Hey....

Yep, that's her. Those AVUS wheels do look sharp, don't they?

I've still got the set of 17" TSW's.....

Let me know if you want them.

Default She looks as good as ever...

Could spot that baby a 1/2 mile away in traffic. I remeber catching Scott Anderson in traffic comming out of a Tigers game downtown Detroit. And how we got on the highway... nutz...

The memories...

Should be checking out the coupe this week, I'll let you know.

Thanks

Default wait...

I'm an idoit. The coupe has a 4x108 bolt pattern. I got caught up in the idea of the all pearl white look. And remember swapping one of the sets I had on my first S4 with a guy here who had a moded coupe, but he did RS2 hubs with the 5x112. We'll see, not sure if I'd do that, have to get the car first. But main reason I want a coupe is to slowly build an S2 or RS2 coupe...

Default Hubba hubba...

RS2 hubs are Porsche hubs, therefore 5 x 130. The S2 hubs are 5 x 112 and are a direct swap with the CQ for about $400 + wheel bearings.

I haven't done this yet, because I have been trying to figure out how I can use my UrS4 hubs instead. I think it can be done, but some modifications will be required. The expensive but direct S2 hub swap is starting to sound more appealing to me.

Welcome to the dark and twisted world of S2 conversions. Perhaps we can develop nervous tics together, friend. Muhwahahaha!

Default I'm all for group development of nervous tics...

You're right, I meant to say S2 instead of RS2 for the hubs. Often RS2 comes out over S2 when S2 is intended. Something built into my subconscience...

I just hope this doesn't later turn into a bidding war for Ali's car
