Default 100 problems

Is it a common occurance for "squeaky brakes" to occur on a 100, even after new brakes have been installed? They are not factory pads, which could explain it, but I was just curious. Thank you.

Default squeak

It could be your pads getting worn down,
or they could just use a shot of that anti-brake noise stuff..

would be more descriptive but I am quite tired

Default You shouldn't have squeaky brakes. You may want to be more descriptive, long squeaks? Short?

The squeaks are persist from about 30mph to 0mph when braking. When the brakes are applied at a very low speed, you can hear a rhythmic, squeak, as if the pads arent worn evenly. Sometimes the squeaks are really loud on warmer days. Thanks.

Default Did you bed the brakes in properly?

As recommended by the other guys try putting anti squeal on first to see if this clears up the problem. If not you've probably glazed the pad by not properly bedding in your brakes...IMHO.

Default I think you need some anti-squeal compound on your pads. See the orange stuff?

I dont know about the anti squeal thing, I'll look into that... The brakes were installed by a certified audi repair person, and were installed about 7 months ago. Thanks again for all of your help!
