Default Fuse 14 problem (thread alittle down).I unplugged wire under driver

seat right side (blk box with wire). replaced fuse 14 and all the symptons (no pwr windows, locks, sunroof, int lights) went away but now my seat wont move back and forth!!! The back tilt fwd and bk but the other swt to move close wont work.

Did I just unplug the wrong switch? If so how come all that other stuff is working now?

Any help would be great... Tried to search for the pic from Bostondriver for IRC... but didnt find. If anyone can help me with that it would be great so I can see if i unplugged the correct thing.

Thanks

yep you likely unplugged the wrong one. It may work for a while until the footwell wires rub again.

Default it is the small black connector in this pic here...

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/hliu55/seat%20swap/seat_connectors.jpg">

...near the top of the picture (sorry it is blurry) that provides power to the footwell light under the front bucket (for the rear passenger). The wiring for the footwell light can get frayed against something inside the seat back, which causes the Fuse 14 short.

While you are udner there, check all your connections to make sure you did not unplug anything else by mistake.
