Default I know all of you out east don't want to hear about the snow, but I have another foot of it in my

driveway this morning. and get this, none actually fell last night.

Instead, the 80mph winds blew it into place. Unfortunately that makes it all crusty and harder to move. time to go shovel some more...

Default Good luck A! Drifting snow is like shoveling clay!

Default believe me, I know.

Same thing happened Saturday evening too. spent 3 hours yesterday clearing it. I have decided to wait until lunch time today before I start at this drift.

Default Remember this saying that shoveling snow while it is still snowing or wind blowing is like

cleaning the house when the kids are around It usually is quoted the other way around but I thought in this case this way would be more appropriate Good luck and stay warm...probably too cold for the kids to get out too, what a bummer...that or yours are so small they'd get lost in a drift

Default It's actually pretty warm - downslope conditions warming the windblown air.

It was 33° at 7:00 a.m., but it's already up to 46°. I still wouldn't let the little ones out, though, they would seriously get blown over. >90mph gusts here right near my office and house.

Default Our snow removal service cleared our little road with a big snowplow & blower...

Sure bet the wind will pick up and blow it all back onto the road and we'll have to have it cleared again. Nice powder though! Subzero temps forecast for this week.

Quattro (the Golden Retriever & the car) is doing fine in this cold weather, so far. Hope nothing breaks as it's 50 miles to the nearest repair shop.

Default LOL! I drove to Maine this weekend, hit 70 degrees on my way up...

saw lots of windos down, and one convertible Mustang with the top down on the highway. This is supposed to be January in New England, right??? Where the hell is all our snow???
