Default < 16 F and A6 Brake and Tire Warnings

My wife's A6 Avant goes crazy every time it goes below about 16F.

Both the tire pressure warning and the rear brake warning light go off and never shut up until the ambient temperature goes above 17 or so.

Is it worth bringing in (semi-common problem), or are they just going to start swaping parts?

Default I'm guessing that the car is an '05 or newer? If so, wrong forum. Try C6 forum:

Not that we don't want to help, but I'm actually not aware of anyone active on this forum that drives a C6 A6....

Sad, huh?

Default Have you checked your tire pressures? When it gets really cold...

Your pressure drops in your tires and can set off the low pressure alarm. It's happened in my trailblazer before and they were down a few psi from what it should be. Took it being 2 degrees outside though.

No clue on the brake pad sensor issue. If you can see that there is plenty of life left I would just ignore it.

Sorry if you already knew this, I thought I would give you my experience!

Default tire psi will drop 1 psi for every 10 deg drop in temp. Im guessing the brake issue is temp

related also, but doesnt hurt to call the dealer just to be safe
