Default iZoom

Some people take things quite literally...

Late yesterday afternoon, I was returning to Chicago via the Indiana Toll Road. As I approached the final toll both, Westgate, I noticed that the car along side of me was braking but not appreciably slowing as it entered one of the lanes marked "iZoom." For those that do not know, this is the Indiana Toll Road version of iPass. Suddenly, the rear of the car jumped upwards as the driver attempted to brake hard before smashing into the lowered gate.

Evidently the driver thought that iZoom was the equivalent of Open Road Tolling...

Later, at the Skyway tollbooth I had a Prius driver think he could out race from the booth. All he was able to do was blow daisies out his tailpipe.
