day 2 of having tint on my car, and i get pulled over...

g-r-e-a-t. sitting at a stop light after leaving the gym, staring into the stars on this crappy ****ty cloudy rainy day.

notice that a K-9 unit car is sitting on my tail but to my drivers side (no idea where he came from or how cause he was not directly behind me).

proceed to move when the light turns green and...BAM the lights go on.

i pull into a shopping center:

him: do you know why i pulled you over
me: no idea officer
him: cant have tint on the front windows
me: really, i never knew that
him: have you ever been pulled over for it, how long have you had the car
me: never, cant remember
him: drivers license and insurance
me: here you go
him: i will be back

3 mins or so passes....

him: im not going to give you a ticket, but please remove it when you get a moment
me: surely sir
him: BTW, NICE CAR.

WTF? he surely wasnt nice to me, but ended with that. my 35% tint all the way around looked much darker today because of the weather. oh well, f that i aint takin it off.

i will get my wife to write me a doctors note saying i need the tint because of my blind'ness and high prescription.....

I know you can get a ticket in conjunction with a moving violation, but again I didn't think they could pull you over just for that.
