Default Thanks for all the kind words regarding Autobahn.

As I mentioned in the drivers meeting, it was a nice opportunity to spend a weekend having a great time with good friends. Glad there were no major mechanical issues or damaging off-track excursions. Thanks once again to Mike, Bill, Bob and Marko; Scott D for stepping in to fill the event master roll so I could go out and zip around with Bill the last session. I was really impressed with how anxious people were to jump in and help out whenever needed. That's what really differentiates our chapter from the rest of the country. You're an incredible group of enthusiasts with a shared vision, all willing to step up and get it done. Get on board, it's an unbelievable ride!!!
Hope to see many of you at Grattan.
Ken

Default I am glad you had a good time!

And that there was no bad things happen.

BTW, out of curiousity, did the gas tally all add up? Can we go back to Autobahn?

I never had to get gas there, I am just hoping that EVERYTHING really went well.

Thanks again for your help.

Adam

Default Great job Ken! I definately want to return in the Fall. Also..

thanks for all the great driving tips. Between you, Skiff and Phil I learned a great deal about my car and what I can be working on to become a better driver. Thanks again.

Default Fast car man....

I hung with you for at least 4 laps but you kept walking away from me in the straights. I need more hp!

Not bad for a 4cyl tip, eh?

Default Thanks. I need to work on the driver. Ken showed me what my car was capable of and .....

he was not even pushing it. In two words, "fast" and "smooth". I just hope as I continue my learning that I can begin to utilize the ability of my car.

Default Thanks Ken....

I've got to say it was a bit intimidating being one of the only girl drivers, but after the first couple of turns and the support of everyone there I realized that I was going to have a great time. Thanks to all who helped me understand that I wasn't going to hurt the car by tossing it around a bit. Looking forward to seeing you all at the next one.

Default There were two other female drivers out there.

Usually we have a few more

There was one in group 3 and one in group 2 who is a fine instructor.

Smurfy couldn't make it nor could Mary M. Katie had to cancel.

But you put up with us and that takes some doing.
