I would'nt use that.
The whole cover is one piece, its just paint, some sort of flat gray without clearcoat.
I'm going to have mine repainted the same way again, along with the front bumper once the RS 6 sideskirts arrive. I like how it looks with the exhaust tips being similar in color, kinda stealth, (till you hit the gas that is
