2008 canada s4 w/ factory inst sat, symphont radio

dealer installed ipod kit and sat radio. w/ ipod on the volume is 50% as loud. if sat radio disconnected at back of radio,ipod op ok. sat radio will work ok w/ or w/o ipod harness connected. any thoughts......tried other methods of spicing wiring but can't get both to work.

receiver/tuner, or via the AUX input at the HU. The two signal sources should not be connected in parallel to the same terminals at the back of the HU.

diagnosticator1 AudiWorld Super User Garage is empty, add now Join Date: Oct 2005 Posts: 6,127	The iPod should connect to the HU via the signal pass through connections at the SAT ... receiver/tuner, or via the AUX input at the HU. The two signal sources should not be connected in parallel to the same terminals at the back of the HU.
