Question for those who know the B7 A4/S4/RS4 Bose system well.......

Does the Bose amp send only a limited frequency range to the stock sub, or does the system rely on the natural frequency roll-offs of the driver. Or.... is there a crossover near the driver. Basically, I need to know what frequency range exits the Bose amp in the signal that goes to the sub.

As some of you might have followed, I'm upgrading my Bose sub. My JL 250/1 amp has signal sensing turn-on, but it requires a midrange frequency for the feature to work. I've tapped into the wires coming from the Bose amp going to the stock sub, but if these are of a limited frequency range as the leave the Bose amp, I'll have to use the remote turn on.
