Default A4 B5, Replacing non-Bose speakers w/ Bose Speakers?

I have 2 blown speakers in a non-Bose Symphony '01 A4.
I have access to a set of Bose speakers that are in good shape. I was wondering if I can simply drop in the Bose speakers, and reset the HU code, or would I (in theory, not in practice) need to replace any of the Amps as well?

Default The Bose setup is completely different to non-Bose, it's not just the speakers.

The Bose peakers are 2 ohm for starters so are likely to blow both the HU front amp and the separate rear amp, which aren't stable at 2 ohm.
The Bose setup has a separate 4ch amp which drives all the cabin speakers, whereas the non-Bose has 4ohm speakers driven off the HU (fronts) and a separate rear amp.
You can hook up a Bose sub to a non Bose system as it has its own amp and just needs power, remote on, and rear pre-outs.
You'd be far better off swapping the blown units for aftermarket ones, better sound too as the Bose units are pants.

Default don't be fooled by the Bose name...

while you're at it, get an aftermarket system. Bose systems aren't THAT great, and certainly not worth all the trouble you'd have to go through to rig up the system.

just get a nice aftermarket system...
