Satellite Symphony II

I just received the latest Audi Collection catalog yesterday. They list a Symphony II styled radio w/satellite reception capabilities (XM or Sirius) for about $400. It states it's for '03 and newer, but looks like it would fit in a Symphony or Symphony II opening. Anybody know if this unit might fit a 2000 A6? Opening and wiring?

The picture is decieving. What you actually get for $400 is a black box that mounts in your trunk, not a new HU.

Only the latest 2004 A4 and 2003+ A8 has satellite radio capability, the rest of us are SOL. Those cars are pre-wired with the satellite antenna on the roof already and the HU having the software to control the satellite tuner.

The only way for you to get satellite radio is to go aftermarket.
