Default What wrong with 02 S4 Bose system?

I checked the hidden eq, all 5s.

I set everything neutral.

Now, when I change the fade to the front, all I get is lows, no highs coming out of the tweeter in the door.

When I switch to fade to the rear, all there is it highs,no lows?

Is this normal? Back is doing highs, front doing lows, something weird...

Anyone? System sounds like crap in general.

Thanks

Default Re: the bose is horrible

I am planning to change out speakers to MB quarts in the front and rear, and get a new amp, and put ina a sub, eventually I'll change the headunit, but I don't spend nuff time in my car to warrant it,

Default Yes, but the issue is when I fade front/back, no highs front, highs only back respectively. Normal?

Default Issue resolved itself. VAG said stereo memory error, next day, hit the key, check it out, all ok.

Weird. Playing with the hidden EQ must have hosed something but started the car the next day and checked it again..sound is back to normal and highs coming back out of the front, and lows back out of the rear.

Default MB quarts are AWESOME speakers. Great choice!
