Default got my new subs today !!!

UPS just rolled up and dropped them off. 3 Brand new Illusion Audio ND-10, I am reallllllly excited! Planning on running 1 in the rear deck and keeping the other 2 as spares. Now I need to order my highs and a 4 channel amp. Can only use 5" component set and I need a 4 channel amp, something I can run off a stock charging system and that has a fairly small footprint. ANybody got some suggestions?

I have been looking at these 2, but am open to something new:
Soundstream tarantula Conv.5
Soundstream tarantula TR 500/4 (125x4)

or

JL Audio XR525-CSi
JL Audio 300/4 (75x4)
(leaning toward this one currently)

Default You bought three subs, intending to use only one and keep the other two as backups?

That seems kind of odd, don't you think?

Default Re: You bought three subs, intending to use only one and keep the other two as backups?

thats exactly what I did, the reason being the nd-10 have a mounting depth of 2.9", if I build a box for them then blow a speaker, I would not be able to replace them(easily). To get these three I had to order them from canada and get them shipped to Texas. They are getting very hard to locate in the states

Default Seems like overkill, but good if you are a cautious person!

Post some pics and let us know how they sound.
